Online registration for the HERALD Early Career Investigator Network event on “Career Development” in Ghent, Belgium is now open. The program of this lunch-to-lunch meeting is designed for ECI’s who have decided to pursue a career in academia and who are or soon will be on their way to full research independency. It comprises invited talks by Prof. Julien Bachmann (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU)), Prof. Christophe Detavernier (Ghent University), Prof. Erwin Kessels (Eindhoven University of Technology) and Prof. Markku Leskelä (University of Helsinki) and several discussion sessions covering diverse challenges that come with establishing ourselves as a (prospective) research group leader. There will also be opportunities for more informal interaction during lunches and dinner. The program and online registration are available on http://www.cocoon.ugent.be/workshop-heraldeci. Please note that the total number of participants is limited to 30. Therefore early registration is recommended.
