Election of HERALD Grant Committee

From 2019 onwards, decisions on the allocation of funds in the HERALD network will be made by a Grant Committee representing the diversity of the network. Nominations for this committee have been received and members of HERALD are now invited to vote via this online form. Each HERALD member may vote once for each category where there is more than one nominee. The deadline for casting your vote is Tuesday 4th December 2018.

Extended deadline: call for 2019 HERALD workshops

The COST Action MP1402 ends in December 2018 but the HERALD network is going to continue into 2019.  HERALD is offering modest financial support for the organisation of scientific workshops taking place in the period March-December 2019.  As with previous HERALD events, the typical grant for one event would be €5,000, but smaller and larger amounts will also be possible.  The grant should be used to cover bona fide costs that support HERALD's goals of collaboration, cohesion and career development, but otherwise there are no restrictions on eligible expenses.  The event can take place in any country worldwide and the applicant can be any member of HERALD worldwide (or can become a member in order to apply).  Completed applications using the enclosed form should be submitted by the extended deadline of 13 December 2018 to the HERALD Chair, who will pass them on to the soon-to-be-elected Grant Committee to select...
