Satellite Workshop of EuroCVD/BalticALD 2019

Dates:

28 Jun 2019

Regular Early Career Investigator (ECI) events are organized to help the next generation of scientists to establish themselves as research leaders in the community. The 4th ECI workshop is organized as a satellite event of the EuroCVD/BalticALD 2019 hosted by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

The two themes of this workshop are:

  • “Make your Ideas Thrive”: Creativity and how it develops; creativity and ideation techniques for individuals and groups; overcoming thought patterns and presumptions; developing ideas into concrete solutions, projects, visions/roadmaps.
  • “Facilitating Efficient Meetings”: To meet or not to meet… and whom?; types of meetings, purpose, roles and responsibilities; engaging people; handling time, goals and difficult situations; clarifying outcome, subsequent actions and people in charge of them.

Theory will be brought to life by practical exercises in small groups to ensure a memorable experience that find its way into daily work.

The event is free of charge. However, the number of participants is limited to 40 to ensure efficient work with the external trainers.
